Ronaldo is the poster boy for longevity, with Camavinga telling when asked about those that he looks up to: “I have a lot of references, like Cristiano Ronaldo. The most important thing is to have longevity in football, and that means working in the gym and taking care of your body.”
Camavinga has become a key cog in Real Madrid’s trophy-winning machine, as Ronaldo once was, and added on putting his versatility to good use: “Even if they put me in goal, I’m going to do goalkeeper stuff! And in goal, I’m great! You just have to shoot hard & from a distance…not too close.”
Real will not need Camavinga to step in between the sticks any time soon, but they will be hoping that he can continue to emulate the club’s legendary all-time leading goalscorer by collecting more La Liga and Champions League titles.
