Manchester City are determined to make a profit from the potential sale of midfielder Kalvin Phillips, according to a report.

The England international has failed to break into City's first team since his arrival at the Etihad Stadium. Phillips made just 12 Premier League appearances in his debut season with Pep Guardiola's team, starting just two of those. He has been involved in three matches in the top-flight this term, all as a substitute.
Despite his struggles, Phillips is said to have a few clubs interested in signing him. Liverpool, Newcastle and Bayern Munich are all said to be considering making January offers to take him away from City.
Phillips will likely watch on from the sidelines as City take on Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
